Support the American Cancer Society and Volunteer with yep! for the 2010 Daffodil Days

Yep! is working with the American Cancer Society again this year by supporting their annual Daffodil Days. Yep! has been asked to volunteer our time to staff a Daffodil Day sale site on March 19th from 10am to 4pm at the Northwest Savings Bank located on 8th and State Street.

We are looking for volunteers to donate an hour of their time to the sale site. Donating your lunch break for a day selling daffodils will share hope for a future where cancer no longer threatens those we love, so please help out! If you are able to help or need additional information, please contact Shannon Morton.

If you are unable to volunteer but are in the area on March 19th, please stop by to support your yep! volunteers and the American Cancer Society. By purchasing daffodil bunches for your friends, family members, and people touched by cancer you will help raise funds and awareness to defeat cancer.

yep! New Member Orientation - April 1st

Our spring new member orientation will be held at The Brewerie at Union Station (123 W 14th St) on Thursday, April 1st. Join us at 5:30 p.m. to learn about yep!, our various committees and activities, and how you can get more involved. There will also be time to socialize with other members. Appetizers will be served. To RSVP for this event, contact Membership Chair Phil Yob.

yep! Works - Visit our job posts page!

Tired of filling out worthless TPS reports or having your cubicle moved downstairs into storage room B? Looking for a job or a new volunteer opportunity in the Erie region? Check our website for the latest openings from local employers, non-profits, and agencies.

Employers, do you have jobs available for young professionals? You can reach this demographic by submitting employment opportunities to newsletter@yeperie.org for posting on our website. There is currently no charge for this service. According to our newsletter statistics, the Job Board of the newsletter is the most highly read and utilized section. That means we'll get your information to the people you want to reach! Freelance and short-term assignments are welcome. Non-profits may also submit board, committee and volunteer openings.
