Meet our new Youtheatre/Education Director This is an excellent opportunity for Youtheatre families to meet our new Youtheatre/Education Director, Emily Cassano. Please join Emily at the EP on Saturday, June 7th from 11 AM - 12 PM. This is a wonderful forum for Emily to hear your thoughts and ideas on the Youtheatre program and for families to find out "what's happening" in the upcoming year. Youtheatre Summer Play Series Auditions Auditions for the Erie Playhouse Youtheatre Play Series will be June 16th and 17th at 4:00 PM at The Erie Playhouse Rehearsal Hall, located at 1158 East 12th St. This year's plays include The Dragon of Nitt by Phil Grecian, directed by Craig Kosnik and The Princess Who Would Not Marry by Maureen B. Exter, directed by Emily Cassano. Young people ages 5-16 are encouraged to audition with a prepared poem or monologue! Rehearsals will begin in July and performances will be August 15th, 16th, and 17th. We still have openings available all weeks, although the week of June 23-28th is filling up FAST. We will be performing Disney's High School Musical for family and friends the week of Encore! Camp (July 14th-19th). If you know anyone who is interested in attending camp this summer, please tell them to sign up! I have assembled a great staff and it is going to be so much fun! 2008-2009 School Day Performances There are still seats available for several of our Youtheatre school day performances.
