A SPLASH OF BLOOD

A SPLASH OF BLOOD

Your Erie Phil and the Erie Community Blood Bank, along with Splash Lagoon, teamed up to offer great incentives for donating blood last week.  The first 50 donors on Tuesday, January 12, received tickets to this weekend's Splash! concert.  All blood donors last week were entered into a drawing to win an overnight package at Splash Lagoon!

"We had several people lined up when we opened the doors that morning," ECBB's Dan Desrochers said.  "What a great way to help the community AND experience one of our wonderful regional assets."

Members of the Erie Phil staff, Eric Borenstein, Nathan Barber and Jennifer Farrar (above), were among those who donated blood.

Splash Lagoon is owned and operated by Scott Enterprises, presenter of the Erie Philharmonic's 2009-2010 season.
